Refurbishment of Asău secondary school
We are delivering refurbishment and modernisation works at Asău secondary school, Bacău County. The project covers interventions on the existing building, the services, partitioning, cladding and finishes, with a handover date tied to the school year.
A school refurbishment carries a constraint other civil work does not: the handover date is not negotiable. The building has to be usable before the school year starts, which means a tight programme and the ability to scale up the crew during finishing.
We installed the suspended ceiling framing, the building services, the ceramic cladding, the flooring and the decoration, together with the works to the stairwell. External works and site set-up were planned so that access to the site stayed controlled throughout.
Every stage was checked and documented against the Quality Manual — a standing requirement at handover of publicly funded work.
